Veterinary
Medicine 6/9/05 We
visited three veterinary hospitals. First, La Vega Vet Clinic, where
we discussed parasites and feeds
then
on to Heart of Texas Equine Clinic in Axtell, Texas where
Dr Edwards discussed aging and equine dentistry.
We
all enjoyed touring his hospital and breeding barns.
And
finally we drove to Lott, Texas to see the Deer Haven Tb Farm
Dr
Jackie Rich and her husband, Trainer Gerald Rich were wonderful hosts.
We saw Tony the Percheron (above) fully harnessed. We
saw Thoroughbreds, Quarterhorses, Percherons and a Clydedale 5month
old Quarterhorse foal (left) beside a 5 week old Therberon foal (right).
